How Robin Readers are graded?

Graded readers are always regarded as an important means of vocabulary building for young children. Robin Readers with the i-Pen readable function are well graded and currently consist of three levels: Easy Start, Beginner and Elementary. The number of words and the sentence structure vary according to the level, from less to more and from simple to complex respectively, which can suit the needs of children of different competence in English. The accessible stories are illustrated in full colour which help children learn English effectively and with enjoyment.

Robin Readers are currently graded into three vocabulary levels, namely 200, 300 and 600 headwords, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Children at the appropriate level are expected to be familiar with those words. These three levels correspond with the A1 and A2 grades
